The Bahamas Islands are located south of Miami, Florida, and north of Cuba. A tiny island just east of the Bahamas is called Nassau and contains many of the resorts. However, some of the resorts are lucky enough to be located on private islands, so the private couples retreat is that much more private. Bahamas is further north than many of the Caribbean islands, so keep that in mind closer to winter time. You may need a light jacket during the winter months, but you will still find it much warmer than Canada!
